Welcome to the home of Lookout Valley's Meat Goats!  Our names are James and Ann Kyle.  Together we have raised Boer goats since 1996, and although there have been trials, we have enjoyed every minute of it.

Herd bloodlines primarily stem from those of the Ennobled Kaptein.  We find that by bringing the older lines forward, we maintain the consistency and quality we strive to produce.

With the death of TX02 Viagra, our primary Sire for many years, we purchased a grandson of Eggsfile and son of DSM Rainey, D & D Tex.  We are very impressed with his kids.  We are also very happy with the conformation and color that we have received from our buck, 'The Red Texan'.  His kids are very consistent in both length, depth, and have plenty of natural muscling. 

Our farm is located in Jacksonville, Texas - deep in the heart of the Pineywoods.  We have focused our efforts on raising replacement brood stock, and top quality show animals. 

Throughout the years I have had the pleasure of working with wonderful groups such as the ETGRA and the IBGA.  The member of ETGRA (East Texas Goat Raisers Association), elected me to a position on the Board of Directors, and the office of  President during 2002 & 2003.  I was blessed with the nomination of Presidency for the IBGA, where I served for two years, 2003 & 2004.  Recently, members of IBGA elected me to the Board of Directors.
